Dan Cohen

Dan Cohen

Dan Cohen is a singer, songwriter, guitarist, cat owner, door refinisher, and producer.  Born in New Orleans and raised in western Kentucky, he went to college in Philadelphia.  There's more work for guitarists and songwriters in Nashville, so back he came to the mid-south, where he's been ever since.  Read more about Dan at his website here (http://www.dancohenmusic.com).

Dan's first solo release with Weston Boys was Dan Cohen (2007).  Two top-ten radio hits on the adult contemporary format came from that CD, and songs from it have been featured on TV and film (Trailer Park of Terror; Witchblade; Country Across America [GAC]).  In 2008 he did studio guitar work for a number of records and put out two of his own, one with The Levees (The Levees, 2008) and one with Swamp Rat (Swamp Rat, Weston Boys 2008). He is a staff writer with Weston Boys Publishing (BMI) with recent cuts on records by Matt King (Rube, Montage 2007), Dan Evans (Goin' All Out, 2008), and Jace Everett (Red Revelations, WBE 2009).
