Brand New Video from Jace Everett

Hot on the heels of being mentioned -- and sung acapella -- by the notorious Howard Stern, Jace Everett announces he's releasing a new video!

"One of Them" will debut after this week's episode of TRUE BLOOD. Everett's song, "Damned If I Do" was featured in the show a few weeks ago, and of course his song "Bad Things" is also significant to the show.

We'll stream the video at Jace's web site, www.jaceeverett.com, and we'll also make it so's you can buy it in higher quality from the Weston Boys store!

TRUE BLOOD plays Damned If I Do

The July 18 new episode of HBO's TRUE BLOOD series will feature Jace Everett's song Damned If I Do, from his new record RED REVELATIONS! Jace Everett -- Red Revelations album cover

As you all know, the show leads off with Jace's song "Bad Things." For the July 18 episode--the plot details of which must of course remain mysterious--we'll hear a few minutes (that's a lot!) of "Damned If I Do" during the action. I thought it might be nice to get you all thinking about what might happen by posting the lyrics here (you can listen at Amazon or iTunes or other digital stores):

Damned If I Do
(Everett/Delray)

Late at night,
All I can do
Is walk these streets,
And think of you.
Time goes by,
But not for me;
So easy to preach,
But hard to believe.
And I'm damned if I do,
Damned if I don't
Want you.

To taste your lips,
To touch your skin,
To hold you close,
And drink you in;
I should let you go,
But I don't know how;
I'm no good for you,
And I'm nothing  without.
And I'm damned if I do,
But damned if I don't
Want you.

Watch Jace Record His New Album!

In August, Jace Everett will be recording a few songs towards his new record in a fabulous Nashville studio. Jace's friend Steve Fishell runs a cool thing called "Music Producer's Institute" and will be offering 10 people a 3 day crash course in recording... using Jace and his band as the example!

Check out the link for details: http://www.musicpi.com/page/page/5830194.htm

This is a really cool opportunity for any of you aspiring musicians and engineers. Check it out, tell your friends, and we'll see you in the studio!
