Free music!

Hello everyone,

We want to give you FREE music!

Write me at westonboys at gmail.com and I’ll send you a free mp3 of the song “Heartbreaker,” the new release from Denitia Odigie. (Never fear: you won’t be put on any lists–unless you specifically ask me to.)

Brick By Brick – Denitia Odigie

Brick By Brick – EP by Denitia Odigie; get it at Amazon!

Denitia’s an amazing songwriter with an ethereal, unforgettable voice. She’s playing a month in New York City this summer, after appearing at the North by Northeast festival in Toronto. We’re celebrating the release of her EP Brick by Brick, her first Weston Boys collaboration.

You can download the whole EP at Amazon and other digital outlets or buy it here at the Weston Boys store.

The guys from Swamp Rat all play on there, so even if you’ve never heard Denitia you know it’s good stuff!

Yours,
Matt

Swamp Rat on Radio and TV

We’re goin’ to TV and radio! First, check out
http://www.gactv.com/gac/shows_acc/
and hear Dan Cohen’s “Nuk-Ya-Ler-Chikkin” playing as the theme song to GAC’s “Headline Country”! For show times check the website or your cable listing channel. “Headline Country” will also feature music by the inimitable Swamp Rat. Thanks to Storme Warren for including our stuff on the show.

Swamp Rat’s song “Take Her Out of Texas,” with vocals by Tracy Byrd, was featured on the Texas Spotlight at K-99 * KRYS 99.1 FM in Corpus Christi, Texas, the last week of October. The track is also spinning at KFTX in Kingsville, Q93 in San Angelo, and KUT in Austin.

Influential music critic Robert Oermann has praised “Take Her out of Texas,” describing it as “Texas swing, with plenty of bounce. Tracy sings lead and sounds born to do this style. An absolute delight.”
